Jana Marvanová: Building Dreams, Inspiring Confidence, and Leading with Heart
Some people enter the world of pageantry in search of a title. Jana Marvanová entered it with a purpose.
Founder of MJ TOPMODEL, international titleholder, mentor, and advocate for education and charitable causes, Jana has built a career that extends far beyond the runway. After winning Miss Business Global 2025 and representing the Czech Republic at Miss Grand All Stars, she continues to inspire young women and aspiring models through her work, proving that true success is measured not only by achievements but also by impact.
“I have always believed that if you can help someone, you should,” Jana says. “Whether it is through education projects, supporting animal rescue initiatives, or visiting children’s homes around the world, I want to leave every place a little better than I found it.”
Her journey in pageantry has opened doors to remarkable opportunities, but it has also demanded resilience, discipline, and personal growth. While many people see glamorous gowns and sparkling crowns, Jana knows the reality behind the scenes.
“Preparing for an international competition is extremely demanding,” she explains. “It is not only about your appearance. You have to prepare mentally as well. You sleep very little, eat very little, and follow a challenging schedule. You work on choreography, public speaking, your advocacy projects, your wardrobe, and the way you present yourself to the world.”
These experiences inspired her to create MJ TOPMODEL and its educational programs for aspiring models and future beauty queens and kings. Through both her academy and agency, she now helps others navigate the same path she once walked herself.
“My goal is to help people fulfill their dreams,” she says. “I want them to feel supported and prepared for opportunities on both national and international stages.”
One of the most memorable moments of her career came during Miss Grand All Stars. Standing on stage was unforgettable, but it was the connection with her supporters that left the deepest impression.
“When I saw the stage for the first time and met my fans, I felt something truly special,” Jana recalls. “They were there when I arrived and when I left. They gave me so much love, even when they had very little themselves. Some brought gifts, others simply came to support me. I will never forget that feeling.”
The competition also led to unexpected professional opportunities. Industry representatives, sponsors, and agencies recognized her potential, opening doors to new modeling projects and international collaborations.
Yet behind every success story lies a challenge. For Jana, the biggest battle was not with competitors but with herself.
“When I was younger, I questioned whether I was good enough,” she admits. “I wondered if I was beautiful enough or talented enough. Over time, I realized that every setback has a purpose. Not everything works out the way we expect, but often there is a greater reason behind it. Today, I am proud of the person I have become.”
That belief in growth and perseverance is reflected in her message to young women.
“Be yourself,” she says. “The most beautiful thing about you is your uniqueness. Do not try to become someone else. Develop your individuality and never be ashamed of who you are.”
Beyond the fashion and pageant industries, Jana is passionate about education and sustainability. Having had the opportunity to study at several universities, she understands how transformative learning can be.
“Education changes lives,” she says. “Unfortunately, access to education is not something everyone can take for granted. I believe it should be. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and create a better future.”
Becoming an aunt has given Jana an even deeper appreciation for the importance of creating a better future for the next generation.
“I want future generations to experience this planet in all its beauty. That is one of the reasons why education, sustainability, and helping children are so important to me.”
Looking ahead, Jana envisions MJ TOPMODEL continuing to grow internationally while staying true to its values.
“I want us to keep leading with our hearts,” she says. “I hope we will continue helping people achieve their dreams, supporting one another, and creating more winners—not just in competitions, but in life.”
Away from the spotlight, Jana finds happiness in life’s simplest moments. Spending time with her family, especially with her nieces and nephews, is her favorite way to recharge. When she has time for herself, she enjoys reading a good book, watching films, and embracing moments of quiet reflection.
And if there is one thing she hopes people remember when they hear her name, it is not a title or a crown.
“I hope they remember someone with a big heart,” she says. “Someone who encourages others to follow their dreams, never give up, and believe that anything is possible.”
Her personal philosophy remains simple yet powerful: every challenge teaches us something, every obstacle helps us grow, and the best chapters often begin when we refuse to quit.
For Jana Marvanová, success is not about standing above others. It is about lifting others up along the way.
